Total Fitness is Chapel Hill, TN’s family-friendly, affordable, dynamic health club. We are a full-service fitness center offering adult group fitness and kids’ fitness programs. Our mission is to provide a nearby, inclusive, inexpensive health-forward family fitness facility. We offer our members the highest quality customer service along with new, state-of-the-art equipment so that we can meet all your family’s fitness needs. We offer a range of classes and training at great rates. We also offer seasonal specials, sibling discounts, and childcare. It’s all part of how we offer our customers the best physical fitness in the best, most welcoming atmosphere. About Our Staff
Jessica Hester, ATC, CPT, LAT: Our owner and trainer, has a sports medical background. This allows her to provide the best possible service to her clients. Jessica has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences, Athletic Training. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer and personal trainer. In addition to her years of experience in the sports medicine field, she received multiple awards for physical fitness and leadership while serving in the Army National Guard. As an on-call athletic trainer for Vanderbilt University, she continues to pursue her education and increase her training and rehabilitative knowledge. Jessica is excited to establish her fitness practice here in Chapel Hill with her family—Joe, Grace (6 years), Jubilee (2 years), and Juliana (6 months). She looks forward to helping you achieve your goals and create and maintain a healthy life!
Lezlee Brown: Personal Trainer, began her fitness journey 5 years ago with her own transformation. She brings high-intensity motivation and challenging routines to her clients as she coaches them to success.
Philecia Bell: Fitness Coach, has her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Delta State Univ and has taught elementary Physical Education, coached basketball and softball, as well as many adult aerobic programs for the last 15 years. She now brings high-intensity, musical routines to step and spin classes that our clients love!
Connie Armstrong: Fitness Coach, began her fitness career a short time ago and excels at gently encouraging beginner classes. Connie is a certified personal trainer and Hatha Yoga Teacher. She loves to try new things and expand her knowledge while sharing her love for fitness with others.
Autumn Lynch: Dance Instructor/ Barre Fitness Coach, has taught alongside Patty Clark at the Lewisburg Rec Center Dance Program for 6 years. She danced for 16 years. Autumn has her Associates degree in Psychology and is currently working on her Bachelors of Psychology while running Dance Programs at Total Fitness and Lewisburg Rec. She is proficient in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. For more information on class structure please call Autumn Lynch at (931)637-7479.
Kathy Marshall: Dance Instructor, has taught Dance for over 20 years. She loves instilling her knowledge in children! Kathy’s entertaining spirit engages children as she leads, ballet, tap, acro, and tumbling here at TF!
Blackbelt Brandy Simmons: Fitness coach and Green Dragon Instructor, has 11 years of Tae Kwon Do experience. Pursuing art and business degree from MTSU, she works as an office manager and a fitness coach at Total Fitness teaching Zumba, TK Fit, among other classes. She enjoys instilling Taekwondo skills and confidence in her students.
Blackbelt Jimmy Cahill: Green Dragon Instructor, has 9 years of Kenpo Karate experience and 3 years of Krav Maga. After graduating from the University of Miami, he now works as a federally licensed U.S. customs broker.
Scott Walls: Scott has over 12 years in the fitness industry. His expertise ranges from various types of personal training (specifically HIIT, muscular strength and endurance, and body building) as well as specializing in meal planning. His energetic personality will help push anyone to reach their goals!
Debbie Biederman: Debbie is a Hatha Yoga Teacher. She completed her training through Aura Wellness Center. She has many interests and hobbies including camping, kayaking, hiking, reading, and quilting. She loves to spend time with her family, friends, and fur babies. She is energetic and loves meeting new people. She is very passionate in helping others meet their fitness goals.
Meredith Cooper: Fitness Coach. Meredith has a Music Business degree from Belmont and spent many years in that industry in New York. Now she is back home she loves learning about the fitness world and working with new people.
Regina England: Yoga teacher. As an x-ray tech at a busy orthopaedic clinic, she sees everyday how important health and fitness is to the body, especially the joints. She discovered love of yoga several years ago. She loves to expand her daily practice and enjoys working with new and old friends, and looks forward to making new ones here at TF!
Tori Simmons: Awesome Staff Person! Tori does just about everything here at TF! She is wonderful with our children and normally is the childcare attendant, but she also substitutes as a Tumbling and Martial Arts Instructor. She helps run our summer camps as well as helps with staff work and signing up new clients! Tori is a jack of all trades and we are so thankful for her sweet personality and intense care for others!
